Taylor Swift Will Make a Rare Talk Show Appearance on the Day ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ Drops

Taylor Swift Thanks Fans for 'Red' Support in AMAs Acceptance Speech for Favorite Pop Album | kvue.com

Gonna go ahead and assume you’ve preemptively called in sick to work / school / life on October 3 in anticipation of Taylor Swift’s new album The Life of a Showgirl dropping, but there are even more things to look forward to. By which I mean Tay is making a rare talk show appearance the same day.

The BBC announced that Taylor Swift will appear on The Graham Norton Show in an episode airing October 3.

She’ll be joined by Cillian Murphy, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith and Domhnall Gleeson—and there’ll be a performance by Lewis Capaldi.

Oh, and FYI, this isn’t her first time on the show!

Taylor has been pretty MIA since announcing her engagement, but she gave us a LOT of information about what to expect from The Life of a Showgirl on New Heights.

Example: she explained why she chose “Portofino Orange” as the era’s official color, telling Jason Kelce “I’ve just always liked it, Jason.

It feels like kind of energetically how my life has felt. And this album is about what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life during this tour, which was so exuberant and electric and vibrant.”

Tay also confirmed that the orange door she left through during the Eras Tour was, in fact, an Easter Egg, saying “I would leave the stage every night going down the elevator lift.

That’s how every single Eras Show ended, except for one, except for the last one, where I exited through a door, an orange door to be specific.

And that actually was an Easter egg. Basically, the reason why I chose to exit that way is because I kind of wanted to give a little subliminal hint to the fans that I may be leaving the Eras Tour era, but I was also entering a new era… I was pretty happy that they noticed that. I was like, trained them well.”
